About Us

Cambodian Islamic Women Development Association (CIWODA) was founded in 1999. Her Excellency Asiah ALY, the spouse of His Excellency Datuk Dr Othsman Hassan senior Minister in charge of special mission is the president of CIWODA. The members of executive are variously involving in government sectors as members of parliament, secretary of state, under-secretary of state, provincial advisors, businesswomen and scholars.  CIWODA has also 25 branches at provinces of Cambodia.

 

MISSION

Mission of CIWODA are to support the development of Muslim women affairs; to provide education to Muslim girls from rural and remote areas; to promote and train members in religious matters and manners according to the Islamic norm and value; to assist for job opportunities and available; and to cooperate with many national and international institutions to promote culture, peace, internationalization of Muslims and national society.

 

GOAL

Build relationships with solidarity and work together promoting education, supporting charity programs, providing first aid and sharing knowledge with members in religious ways and morality of living comply with Islamic tradition and culture in order to promote Cambodian Islamic women, young women and the local people for better livelihood and high income generations.
